As part of USAID’s READ II Project, Ana M. Cetina led production on two distinct audio-based programs for Ethiopian learners. The first was a 20-episode Interactive Audio Instruction (IAI) series supporting pre-service teachers in strengthening their English skills, developed with local partners and adapted for seven regions. Separately, she produced a 13-episode radio drama and companion talk segment—created in collaboration with Zeleman—focused on promoting gender equity. Written and recorded in seven languages, the series aimed to empower girls, encourage reflection on gender norms, and foster community dialogue through a compelling mix of storytelling and interactive discussion.
