For the feature documentary In the Executioner’s Shadow, I led the post-production audio, designing and mixing the full soundscape to support the film’s powerful exploration of justice, punishment, and the human cost of the death penalty. The documentary demanded a restrained yet emotionally precise approach—one that could carry the weight of personal testimony, amplify moments of silence, and enhance the pacing without drawing attention away from the human stories at its center.

My work focused on balancing the rawness of real-world environments with clarity and tonal sensitivity, creating a mix that deepened the film’s emotional resonance while maintaining narrative flow. In the Executioner’s Shadow aired nationally on television and was featured at multiple film festivals, earning awards and recognition for its bold, compassionate storytelling.
